R.A.M was founded in 1973 by Avi Hasson upon his completion of 12 years of employment with the " Asia" firm, forerunner of "Teva" Pharmaceutics LTD. He brought with him a rich background in management and marketing experience, including being dispatched to Congo to establish and manage Teva's first medicine factory in Africa.
Upon its establishment R.A.M set its pimary goal to become integrated within the area of raw materials for the pharmaceutical and food industry which remained the company's focus over its first decade. After having acquired years of experience and knowledge in the market, the company than redefined its chief goal to develop new products in the industry.
R.A.M has since created partnerships with leading companies worldwide in the production of raw materials and the development of the products, relationship that have yielded a number of projects to develop new products for the major food companies in Israel.
In 1997 R.A.M was acknowledged by his Royal Highness Henrik, Prince of Denmark, by awarding a medal and diploma from the National Association for Danish Enterprises in recognition for outstanding service towards the commercial relationship between Denmark and Israel. This token of appreciation was presented in a ceremony held at the residence of the Danish Ambassador to Israel, in the presence of Directors of leading Danish companies and prominent members of the local industry.
In 2007, R.A.M signed a partnership agreement with the Swiss company Hochdorf Nutricare, a subsidiary of the Hochdorf Group, specializing in the production of baby food and its international marketing.
R.A.M extends thanks and appreciation to the Israeli and international companies as well as to the managers, and workers of the company along the years of joint efforts. As we face the future, we never cease to aspire for greater achievements.
